ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week’s action with a 20-15-1-2 record (11-7-1-1 at home, 9-8-0-1 on the road, 4-1 in overtime, 2-2 in shootouts) and tied for fifth place in the EASTERN CONFERENCE and tied for ninth place overall in the WHL…After starting the season 5-11-0-0 the ICE are 15-4-1-2 in their last 22 games…KOOTENAY will play four of their next five games at home…This week the ICE will host RED DEER (December 29) and REGINA (December 31).

SCORING STREAKS: BRAYDEN MCNABB (5-6-11) has record at least a point in his last five games…DUSTIN SYLVESTER (3-6-9) and HAYDEN RINTOUL (0-6-6) have each recorded at least one point in their last four games.

INJURY: Forward DOMINIK PACOVSKY will be out of the ICE line up one to three weeks with a broken foot.

ONE YEAR AGO: After 38 games of the 2008-2009 season the ICE were 19-14-2-3, after 39 games 19-14-2-4 and after 40 games 19-15-2-4.
