ICE have added 16-year-old defenseman Jagger Dirk to the roster and he will remain with the club for the rest of the season.
He was selected in the 2008 Bantam Draft by the ICE in the 11th round.
Dirk is 6'0" 177 lbs and shoots left.
He strated the year in the BCHL with Salmon Arm and had 4 goals and 17 assists for 22 points in 29 games with 29pm.
Last year he played with the Okanagan Hockey Academy.
His father is former WHL and NHL defenseman Robert Dirk. He played with the Regina Pats from 82-86. Selected in the 3rd round of the 1984 NHL Draft by St. Louis. In his NHL Career with the Blues, Vancouver, Chicago, Anaheim and Montreal he played 402 regular season games and 39 playoff games.
