Hitmen scored 2 goals 29 seconds apart midway through the 3rd period to beat the ICE 4-2. Calgary clinched their 2nd straight division title and 5th in team history.
Kevin King and Drew Czerwonka had the goals.
The ICE were tied 2-2 in the 3rd period against Spokane and Calgary but were only able to earn 1 point in the standings.
They remain in 7th place.
ICE have 16 games left, 7 at home and 9 on the road.
Of the remaining games 9 are against teams currently below them in the standings.
Later this week the ICE should have the concussion test results on Steele Boomer and Nathan Lieuwen and have their status' finalized.
The ICE will host Edmonton on Wednesday, visit Red Deer on Friday and host the Rebels on Sunday.
